About Al-Jahiz Academy
Al-Jahiz Academy is an online school for children: Arabic, English, math, and a dedicated Quran program — all in live, small groups. We work with expat, Gulf, and international families: qualified teachers, a clear program, and lessons that feel personal, not like anonymous screen time.
We are educators first: we care about the child, not the clock. Our classes use real dialogue, play, and interaction—so students stay engaged and parents understand what is happening, week to week.

Our story
The academy began with a group of Syrian women in education, united by years of teaching children and a shared frustration: many families abroad still lacked a complete, respectful Arabic- and child-centered learning experience. We built Al-Jahiz Academy to offer structured online teaching—live video, small groups, and a curriculum that fits real life for diaspora and international families, not a copy-paste of generic worksheets.
Qualified Teachers
Our teachers are specialists with real classroom and academic experience. They teach in real time, watch each child’s progress, and adjust pace and explanation—never as a passive recording or a one-size-fits-all script.
Studied Curriculum
We develop and refine our own curriculum around what learners actually need: heritage Arabic, school alignment where it matters, and age-appropriate pacing. The material is planned for expat and bilingual children and delivered through interactive online lessons.
Modern Teaching Methods
We use live video, an interactive whiteboard, screen sharing, and guided games and exercises so children participate—not watch passively. The goal is understanding and confidence, not rote answers.
